HR Business Partner

Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders and managers as a trusted HR resource, providing practical guidance on employee relations, performance management, policy interpretation, engagement, and workforce needs.
- Support full-cycle talent activities, including recruiting coordination, candidate screening, onboarding, and orientation, to ensure a smooth and positive employee experience.
- Advise employees and managers on HR programs, benefits, open enrollment, leaves of absence, workers’ compensation, and general employment-related questions.
- Manage and support employee relations matters by gathering information, documenting concerns, identifying appropriate next steps, and escalating complex issues as needed.
- Develop and maintain HR reports, metrics, and dashboards to help identify trends, support compliance requirements, and inform HR and business decisions.
- Contribute to HR compliance activities, including policy administration, required reporting, documentation, audits, and process consistency.
- Support performance management, compensation, training, and employee engagement initiatives through communication, coordination, tracking, and manager support.
- Identify and recommend process improvements that streamline HR workflows, increase efficiency, and improve the employee and manager experience.
Requirements
- 3+ years of HR experience
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field or equivalent experience
- Curious, collaborative, with a strong HR foundation
- Strong communicator who builds trust with employees and leaders
- Demonstrated ability to learn technology platforms quickly, streamline processes, and develop metrics
- Passionate about community, teamwork, and creating a positive employee experience
- PHR/SHRM-CP certification is a plus, but not required
Schedule
Hybrid schedule based in Santa Rosa, CA, with four days onsite and one day remote.

Pay
The compensation range for this position is $75,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with your applicable experience, education, and skills.
