About the Role

The HR Business Partner will create value for the company by partnering with all locations to build a positive culture, support a recruiting and retention plan, implement an Affirmative Action Plan (including diversity and inclusion initiatives), serve as an HR representative, and provide knowledge and support to HR and management. This is a part-time, temporary role with varying days and hours.

On-site attendance is essential to effectively perform the listed duties and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the HR Department with the development and administration of programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align locations with the goals of the organization.
  • Support the VP of Human Resources and Director of Compensation and Benefits with various initiatives and reporting.
  • Support locations with recruiting and retention as needed.
  • Onboard corporate new hires, including new hire paperwork, benefit orientation, and uploading company-wide onboarding documents.
  • Implement all facets of the Affirmative Action Plan, including classification, applicant tracking, diversity initiatives, maintaining and coordinating with locations annually, and annual filing.
  • Attend job fairs and diversity initiatives as needed for each location.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in human resources, preferably in recruiting or as a generalist.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, diversity, performance management, and federal and state employment laws.
  • Previous experience with a complex HRIS system.
