About the role

We're looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, helping them attract, develop, engage, and retain top talent while supporting key business objectives. This is an opportunity to move beyond transactional HR work and become a strategic partner who directly impacts organizational success.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders to understand business priorities and develop people strategies that support organizational goals
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and solutions on workforce planning, leadership effectiveness, organizational challenges, and talent decisions
  • Collaborate with leaders on workforce planning and talent acquisition strategies
  • Support succession planning and leadership pipeline development
  • Guide leaders through performance management processes and talent reviews
  • Partner with leaders to strengthen employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture
  • Support organizational redesigns, workforce planning initiatives, business transformations, and process improvements
  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters, investigations, policy interpretation, and conflict resolution
  • Analyze workforce trends and HR metrics to identify opportunities and risks

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Psychology, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3-5+ years of progressive HR experience
  • Experience supporting operational, manufacturing, or business-facing teams preferred
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Experience partnering directly with leaders and influencing business decisions

Schedule

Hybrid role 3 days a week – in either the Milwaukee, Madison, or Merrill office.
