Position Summary

Reporting to the HR Director, the HR Business Partner (HRBP) supports business objectives by providing HR support, managing employee relations, and developing talent. The role involves guiding associates and managers, conducting investigations, and participating in performance management activities. The HRBP also partners with safety teams and managers on safety investigations and contributes to various HR initiatives.

Key Outcomes/Responsibilities

  • Employee Relations/Performance Management: Guides associate relations and handles challenging situations, ensuring consistent policy application. Assists in performance management activities such as coaching, counseling, and preparing Performance Improvement Plans and disciplinary actions. Conducts investigations and provides recommendations.

  • HR Partnership and Specialist: Develops and reinforces HR policies, monitors HR data, and partners with business groups to develop solutions. Acts as a change agent, ensuring organizational agility through appropriate change management practices.

  • Talent Management: Improves organizational performance through individual and team performance, supports talent forums, and assists in succession planning. Identifies skills gaps and recommends development activities, coaches people managers, and builds talent pipelines.

  • Talent Acquisition: Supports talent acquisition initiatives, participates in new hire orientation, and assists with new manager onboarding and transition activities.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related discipline.

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources, including at least 3 years as an HR Business Partner or equivalent experience. Previous experience in Sales and/or Operations is preferred.

  • Competencies: Communicates effectively, organizes effectively, collaborates, and drives results.
