HR Business Partner

About the role

The HR Business Partner partners directly with managers and directors and their respective teams to drive results based on business strategy and objectives. This position aligns business objectives with employees and management, collaborating across the HR function to deliver value-added service that reflects the business objectives of the facility, market, and region.

The HRBP demonstrates a solid understanding of the facility’s financial position, labor market demands, and operating landscape, using this knowledge to guide people-related decisions and plans. The role supports and delivers on enterprise-wide HR-related projects and activities, creating HR agendas that align with corporate HR strategies while supporting local interests and conditions.

Responsibilities

• Align business objectives with employees and management in assigned business units.
• Collaborate across HR functions to deliver value-added service to management and employees.
• Support and deliver on enterprise-wide HR projects and initiatives.
• Facilitate meetings, discussions, and training programs.
• Coach local managers to create positive business outcomes.
• Lead and mentor internal partners to deliver results.
• Develop HR agendas that align with corporate strategies and local conditions.

Requirements

• BA/BS required.
• 3+ years of Human Resources experience in a role such as HR Adviser, Generalist, or Specialist, preferably in an organization with multiple stakeholders, including matrix relationships.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Experience collaborating with and influencing leaders.
• SHRM certification and/or extensive knowledge of current HR practices, principles, and trends.
