About the role
The HR Business Partner provides HR generalist support to a large population of hourly employees and business leaders, focusing on talent management, employee engagement, and internal customer service. This role involves leveraging data-driven insights to drive business impact and balancing strategic and tactical responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Identify systemic patterns, address root causes, and make high-judgment decisions that align with policy intent while minimizing risk.
- Use data analytics to identify emerging trends, predict future challenges, and implement proactive solutions at the site level.
- Execute and monitor employee engagement strategies and recognition programs.
- Coach Business Leaders on effective people management practices, including performance feedback, team development, and complex employee relations matters.
- Partner with leaders to ensure equitable talent practices across selection, development, and advancement decisions.
- Drive adoption of HR technology solutions, AI, and self-service tools, ensuring effective utilization while maintaining focus on high-touch service delivery in critical moments.
Requirements
- Improve site effectiveness by establishing and implementing mechanisms that ensure consistent, fair application of policies while maintaining compliance with evolving regulations.
- Build trust and influence through sound business acumen, managing increasingly complex issues and delivering solutions that enhance both employee experience and business outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
- Experience supporting or leading employee-focused processes including onboarding, benefits, investigations, training or talent management.
- 2+ years of human resources experience or equivalent experiences (e.g., operations, customer service, retail, distribution, shipping/logistics, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing).
Skills
- Master's degree, or MBA.
- Experience supporting operational environments (manufacturing, distribution, or similar).
- Ability to effectively train, guide, and support others in the use of various HR technologies and digital platforms, with a focus on increasing user adoption and enhancing end-user experience.
- Demonstrated ability to build effective partnerships with business leaders.
- Experience handling employee relations matters and conducting workplace investigations.
- Strong coaching and influencing skills with ability to guide leaders through complex situations.
- Experience supporting employee engagement and development initiatives with measurable impacts on employee retention or satisfaction.

Pay
Base salary range: $67,600.00 - $118,400.00 USD annually
