Responsibilities
- Partners with the Recruiting Department to identify and fill key vacancies for their region or client group.
- Takes a leadership role in the selection of candidates for key positions within the region or department.
- Works closely with the VPO’s and RPD’s regarding workforce planning.
- Maintains and tracks turnover for the region.
- Aligns business objectives with employees and management in designated business units.
- Develops a leadership profile for high potentials and creates development opportunities for these individuals.
- Implements and conducts training programs and oversees developmental plans for their region.
- Aids the compensation team in creating and modifying job descriptions.
- Monitors and evaluates client employee practices to ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies.
- Develops and implements policies, procedures, and initiatives that promote human resource best practices and support the Company’s strategic goals.
- Consults with clients regarding the corrective action process for workforce performance or behavior.
- Guides supervisory staff in the separation process for disciplinary reasons and reduction in force.
- Provides supervisory training in areas such as conducting performance evaluations, coaching, wage and hour regulations, interviewing techniques, FMLA, ADA.
- Collaborates with the compensation team to ensure external competitiveness and internal equity in compensation practices.
- Aids the region in obtaining job changes, status changes, and market adjustments.
- Reviews personnel actions from the region to ensure they are warranted and policies are followed.
- Aids the Benefits department in the rollout and communication of new programs and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Required: BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
- Desired: MA/MBA.
- Required: Minimum of 7 years of prior generalist experience in HR.
- Desired: Prior experience in EEOC and Department of Labor investigations and charge response; participation in DOL wage and hour audits.
- Required: Strong knowledge of compensation, employment law, recruitment, benefits, training, and Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Desired: Knowledge of HRIS and Microsoft Access.
- Desired: SPHR or equivalent certification.
- Required: Excellent oral/written communications, analytical thinking, organization and planning, teamwork, adaptability, customer service, and consultative skills.
About the Role
Adoration Home Health is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner - HRBP to support their Sales and Marketing team. This is a remote role reporting to the HR Director and covers all regions in the U.S. Prior HR experience in the healthcare field is preferred.
