HR Associate Volunteer

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced HR Associate who will be instrumental in supporting our human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement.

What You Will Bring To The Team

• 1+ years of experience in human resources or a related field
• Strong interest in HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, and engagement
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Google Suite
• Able to work collaboratively with a diverse team-oriented environment
• Prior experience with a non-profit organization is preferred

Location and Commitment

• Location within the 48 contiguous United States is highly preferred
• Applicants must be able to attend periodic meetings conducted during regular business hours in the Central Standard (CST) Time Zone
• Commit to a few hours per week and at least 6 months (though we'd love to have you even longer)

Your Impact on our Mission

• Aid in the recruitment process, including posting job openings and coordinating with the social media team to announce job openings, and coordinating interviews
• Support the onboarding process for new volunteers, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization and making recommendations for improvements
• Develop and implement engagement strategies to foster a positive and inclusive work environment
• Maintain accurate HR records and assist with administrative tasks as needed
• Collaborate with other departments to support HR initiatives and organizational goals
• Aid in the creation, maintenance, and updating of Policies and Standard Operating Procedures
