IDR is seeking an HR Advisor to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Boston, MA. This role serves as a trusted first point of contact for employees and managers, delivering timely, high-quality support across HR programs and transactions within a fast-paced, mission-driven healthcare organization.
About the role
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, managers, and HR by resolving HR-related inquiries accurately and efficiently via phone and email.
- Provide guidance on HR self-service tools and processes to improve user adoption and reduce transactional friction.
- Execute and support HR transactions across the employee lifecycle, including data changes and policy/process clarifications.
- Maintain employee records and documentation with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives by analyzing data, gathering user feedback, and partnering cross-functionally to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Experience supporting HR operations and responding to employee inquiries across benefits, policies, and HR programs with a customer-first mindset.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms such as PeopleSoft and Workday (healthcare experience preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address routine to moderately complex issues using sound technical and cross-functional knowledge.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to demonstrate empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.
- High attention to detail with the ability to process data quickly, multitask effectively, and maintain quality in all interactions and transactions.
