About the role

This is a temporary position and there are no leave or retirement benefits offered with this position. Temporary employees who work an annual average of 30 or more hours per week may be eligible for health insurance coverage under the High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP). Responsibilities

  • Aid in onboarding tasks, prepare new hire paperwork
  • Greet and assist employees, applicants, and visitors with routine HR questions and inquiries
  • Scan, file, and maintain personnel records and other HR documents
  • Maintain and respond to the Zoo HR shared mailbox
  • Prepare employee communications, announcements, and other HR-related correspondence
  • Administer employee identification badges and related recordkeeping

Requirements

Great organizational skills with the ability to compile, assimilate and organize both printed and electronic information. Ability to utilize office equipment and other relevant technology (software and systems) to meet organizational needs. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to use effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions. Pleasant demeanor with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively both verbally or in written form that meets the needs of the audience. Prior HR experience a plus.

Qualifications
