HP Retail Sales Representative
Location: Best Buy 218 - Amarillo, TX 79121
About the Role
HP and 2020 Companies have partnered to hire an HP Retail Sales Associate. In this role, you will assist in driving sales and creating excitement around the HP brand and products in your local Best Buy and surrounding office supply stores. You will demonstrate products to customers, tailor demonstrations to their needs, and build rapport with both customers and store staff.
Pay
$16.50 per hour + weekly performance bonus of up to $100 based on individual sales performance. Top performers consistently earn bonuses every week. Bonus program is subject to change at the company's discretion.
Schedule
Up to 15 hours per week. Saturday and Sunday preferred. Flexible Friday options may be available based on location needs.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate HP products at Best Buy and surrounding office supply stores
- Engage and build rapport with customers by creating a memorable experience
- Maintain professional relationships with store management and staff
- Train retail store associates on HP products and services
- Maintain displays for cleanliness, functionality, and demo-readiness
- Report competitive insights
- Sell products and services in a retail store environment
- Meet or exceed personal sales goals on a monthly basis
- Courteously welcome customers and offer assistance
- Direct customers to displays, assess needs, and suggest products
- Advise customers by providing information on products and services
- Help customers make selections by building confidence
- Accurately document and report sales
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results
- Track and communicate all activity to Retail Operations
- Ensure work station/kiosk is clean, well-organized, functional, and presentable
- Submit all paperwork completely and accurately
Performance Measurements
- Regular and prompt attendance
- Meet established monthly/weekly sales quota/goals
- Customer/client satisfaction based on rejection percentage and substantiated complaints
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Six months prior sales, retail, telecom, or marketing experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of products and services
- Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to maintain customer confidentiality
- 1-year job experience required
Qualifications
- Problem-solving, tech-savvy enthusiast
- Outgoing personality and eagerness to learn
- Comfortable engaging with customers and demonstrating products
- Ability to engage in a selling process that overcomes objections and connects with customer needs
- Retail experience or customer service experience in electronics, tech, or wireless is a plus
- Training or product demonstration experience is a plus
