This position offers an opportunity for an experienced Clinical Research Coordinator to support a Pneumococcal Disease clinical trial at a research site in Houston, TX.

About the role

The role is full-time, requiring 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday. This is a contract, hybrid position based in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Perform chart review against study criteria.
  • Pre-screen potential participants.
  • Educate participants on the clinical trial.
  • Conduct follow-up communications with participants to ensure retention and protocol compliance.
  • Schedule in-person visits and follow-up appointments; send reminders and information as needed.
  • Perform patient recruitment through community outreach efforts to spread study awareness.
  • Partner with local clinics and medical professionals for patient referrals.
  • Educate providers about the clinical trial and participant qualifications.
  • Visit local community locations and attend community events.
  • Post fliers and brochures at targeted locations to reach patients, such as coffee shops and recreational centers.

Requirements

  • Must have experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator.
  • 2+ years of patient recruitment experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
  • Training in HIPAA & Good Clinical Practice (GCP).

Qualifications

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.

Work Environment

The role is based in a fast-paced environment during normal business hours. Attention to detail is crucial.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
