Houston 57 (Pin Oak/IH10) Dairy - Customer Service Rep - Part time

Responsibilities

• Stock and rotate products daily; maintain department standards and safety/sanitation requirements
• Load, unload, and move product; organize and clean back areas for night crew and incoming trucks
• Prepare and present merchandise on pallets and displays; ensure shelf tags and signage integrity; create or prepare signage as needed
• Check shipments for out-of-date or damaged items to maintain freshness and quality
• Build, stock, maintain, and dismantle store displays
• Provide superior customer service; answer questions and assist with product selection and location
• Merchandise product effectively and use suggestive selling techniques to meet customer needs and drive sales
• Clean and sanitize sales floor, display cases, prep areas, and equipment; properly operate and maintain equipment
• Comply with departmental SOPs and store operating procedures

• Entertainment: Knowledge in the audio/video field; familiarity with specialty products, movies, music, electronics, and video games

Qualifications & Key Requirements

• Age 18 or older
• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent)
• Completion of Company Orientation and Safety Training upon hire
• Strong customer service, communication, interpersonal, reading, writing, planning, and organizing skills

Grocery: Constantly reach at waist and grasp; frequently stand, walk, reach at shoulder/knee, stoop, pivot, push/pull, pinch, perform fine motor movements, ulnar/radial deviation, extend/flex wrists; frequently exposed to cold; occasionally sit, reach overhead/floor, bend, squat, crouch, kneel, climb stairs/ladders, twist; occasionally exposed to loud noise and wet conditions; lift up to 65 lbs and manage loads over 135 lbs.
