Responsibilities

• Assist clients in navigating rental assistance programs like Section 8 and ensure they understand their options for affordable housing.
• Conduct assessments and develop personalized case management plans that address individual needs and circumstances.
• Provide guidance and support to clients via phone and virtual meetings, while documenting their progress meticulously.
• Conduct outreach to community partners and housing providers to foster collaborative relationships and ensure all resources are available for clients.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss best practices and strategies for tackling housing challenges.
• Empower clients with the resources needed to secure stable housing while demonstrating a strong commitment to excellence and innovation.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Three years of experience in homeless and housing services is required.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Proficiency in software tools for case management and client tracking is essential.
• A valid Ohio driver's license with four points or less, alongside proof of insurance, is necessary for transportation to meet with clients and community partners.
• A reliable personal vehicle is required for daily tasks.
• Certification in Housing Quality Standards (HQS) is preferred.
