Housing Resource Specialist

About the role

The Housing Resource Specialist will provide support to clients in finding and securing affordable housing options. This includes conducting outreach, assisting with applications, and providing guidance on housing policies and resources.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach to potential clients to identify housing needs
• Assist clients in completing housing application forms
• Provide guidance on understanding and utilizing available housing resources
• Monitor and report on client progress towards housing stability
• Collaborate with other community organizations to expand access to housing resources

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, public policy, or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in housing services or related field
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Qualifications

• Knowledge of local housing policies and resources
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
