About the role
The Housing Navigator at Rose Brooks Center supports survivors of domestic violence through the Coordinated Entry System, assisting with housing needs and building relationships with property managers.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outreach and Coordinated Entry assessments with survivors presenting to the CES.
- Support survivors through the entire housing process, from search to placement.
- Identify and develop relationships with local property managers to facilitate housing placement.
Qualifications
- Two years of case management experience, preferably in a domestic violence agency.
- Knowledge of domestic violence and strengths-based perspective.
- Demonstrated skills in time management, organization, and prioritization.
- Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with others.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in crisis response and working with survivors of domestic/sexual violence trauma.
- Knowledge of Department of Housing and Urban Development guidelines.
- Bilingual Spanish/English (preferred).
Hours
This is a full-time, exempt position (average of 40 hours per week), with some evening and occasional weekend hours required.
Pay
$46,000 annually (exempt)
