About the role
Milestone Centers, a subsidiary of Partners For Quality Inc., is a nonprofit, community-based human services agency supporting individuals with behavioral health challenges and intellectual & developmental disabilities in communities throughout Western Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities
- Shows apartments and bedrooms to prospective renters, leases units to applicants or referral holders, and renews leases for current tenants
- Performs necessary managerial duties for the property
- Collaborates with the client’s treatment team to address any concerns and documents relevant information in applicable systems
- Ensures that clients adhere to their tenant agreements
- Supports all tenants in the program across all rental units as needs arise
- Maintains professional contact with treatment teams and the community as required
- Screens referrals of potential tenants
- Assists clients with orientation to the living environment and transitioning to another housing environment
- Monitors tenants’ living space for health, safety, and welfare concerns
- Maintains a cost-effective building with an established budget
- Submits weekly reporting requirements on the Synergy platform
- Reports significant events to the Director of Housing Support
- Coordinates and implements monthly/quarterly safety and fire drills
- Checks fire systems monthly and responds to building emergencies promptly
- Adheres to the Fair Housing Act and local renting laws
- Attends meetings and training courses as required
- Uses a computer and Microsoft applications, and completes required documentation within the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
- Collects rent payments from clients and completes all other duties as assigned
- Performs on-call responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a social science field; OR associate’s degree in a social science field with work experience in a social service area; OR high school/GED with work experience in the social service field preferred
- Experience in mental health, alcohol and other drugs, adult/geriatric, and the homeless population preferred
- Act 33 and Act 34 clearance and FBI background check, if applicable
- Valid PA Driver’s license and clean driving record

Pay
Minimum Compensation: $22.00/Hr, Maximum Compensation: $22.00/Hr
