Responsibilities

  • Serve as a responsible, adult presence in the dorm.
  • Actively supervise, engage with, and promote social growth and inclusion among students.
  • Oversee and maintain residence hall, including room checks and headcount.
  • Promote and maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy living environment.
  • Enforce policies and procedures ensuring that the student-athlete code of conduct is being maintained.
  • Participate and follow up on recreational, educational for student-athletes.
  • Aid student-athletes with learning, character building, community development, and personal well-being.
  • Be aware of student-athletes’ daily schedules.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethic codes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must possess good judgment and sensitivity relating to students of various backgrounds.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have excellent guest service skills.
  • Must be highly organized with the ability to juggle and prioritize multiple projects effectively.
  • Must have a superior work ethic.
  • Must be able to work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays is required.
  • Must be able to move around campus, which includes gym, turf, fields, stairs, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Education, Child Psychology or related area.
  • At least 1 year experience working with students grades 6 through 12.
  • Master’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology or related area preferred.
  • Experience in education, sports or related area preferred.
  • Experience as a collegiate athlete preferred.
  • Experience with residential life in a boarding school environment and/or summer camps preferred.
  • Experience in counseling, crisis response, and mediation preferred.
  • Experience in a high-pressure, academic/performance setting preferred.
  • First Aid and CPR Certification preferred.
  • Bilingual ability preferred.

Pay

Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.

Schedule

This role is considered essential and may be required to work during weather emergencies or business closures in order to meet operational requirements.
