About the role
The Housing Intake Coordinator is responsible for managing the initial intake process for new residents, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and that the transition into the housing program is smooth.
Responsibilities
- Handle initial phone calls and emails from potential residents
- Conduct in-person interviews to gather necessary information
- Process and verify all required documentation
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely move-in processes
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to new residents
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Experience in customer service or administrative roles
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of housing programs and regulations
