About the role
Oaklawn provides mental health and addiction treatment across Goshen, Elkhart, South Bend, and Mishawaka in Indiana. We offer various therapeutic roles including therapist, counselor, clinician, nurse, psychiatric technician, behavioral health technician, and substance abuse counselor.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Administer medications and monitor patient progress
- Educate patients and families about mental health and addiction issues
- Maintain accurate and confidential records
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field
- Valid state license or certification in the relevant field (e.g., LPC, LCSW)
- Experience in mental health or addiction treatment settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
