Housing and Residence Life Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Works with Associate Director and Director of Housing to support Housing operations.
• Assist with the day-to-day administrative operations of Housing and Residence Life.
• Coodinates and enforces community standards.
• Coodinates housing program initiatives.
• Oversees RA staff recruitment and selection.
• Supervise and manage student employees.
• Supervise daily residence hall activities.
• Led efforts to orient students and assists with housing needs.
• Represents the department at events and activities.
• Aid with special projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of experience in work related to student services.
• Minimum Knowledge, Skills And Abilities:
• Knowledge of the University’s student policies and procedures and those related to assigned department.
• Knowledge of acceptable advising techniques.
• Knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and principles.
• Skill in making written and oral presentations.
• Ability to assess student progress and goals.
• Ability to process, review, and evaluate student documents.
• Ability to conduct student interviews.
• Ability to provide training for participants, students, and/or clients.
