Housing and Residence Life Coordinator
Responsibilities
- Works with Associate Director and Director of Housing to support Housing operations.
- Assist with the day-to-day administrative operations of Housing and Residence Life.
- Coodinates and enforces community standards.
- Coodinates housing program initiatives.
- Oversees RA staff recruitment and selection.
- Supervise and manage student employees.
- Supervise daily residence hall activities.
- Led efforts to orient students and assists with housing needs.
- Represents the department at events and activities.
- Aid with special projects and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of experience in work related to student services.
- Minimum Knowledge, Skills And Abilities:
- Knowledge of the University’s student policies and procedures and those related to assigned department.
- Knowledge of acceptable advising techniques.
- Knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and principles.
- Skill in making written and oral presentations.
- Ability to assess student progress and goals.
- Ability to process, review, and evaluate student documents.
- Ability to conduct student interviews.
- Ability to provide training for participants, students, and/or clients.
