About the role
As a Houseperson, you are essential to creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for every guest. You respond promptly to requests by delivering amenities and special items, helping ensure an exceptional guest experience. Your attention to detail and service-first mindset keep daily operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture
- Empty Guest Room Attendant carts throughout the shift and assist with removal of trash and soiled linen
- Clean public and back-of-house areas, including floors, stairwells, elevators, walls, mirrors, and fixtures
- Deliver and retrieve guest items such as rollaway beds, cribs, refrigerators, coffee pots, and requested toiletries
- Restock and maintain locker rooms, supply closets, and deliver cleaning products and equipment to Guest Room Attendants
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws, company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations
- Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- English, both written and verbal
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
- Verify right to work in the United States
Qualifications
- 3+ months of experience in a similar role or transferable skills in a related environment
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team
- Bilingual abilities preferred
- Committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment
Physical Requirements
- Regularly push/pull up to 70lbs
- Regularly lift and/or carry up to 50lbs at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels
- Regularly squat, kneel, reach, bend, twist
- Constantly standing and walking
- Ability to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephone
- Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in person
- Ability to distinguish between shades of color
- Ability to use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity
- Ability to ascend and descend stairs
