HOUSEPERSON (FT)

About the role

The House Person is responsible for providing a clean and ready-to-use environment for Hotel Guest Room Attendants. This involves maintaining the cleanliness and organization of Guest Rooms, reporting any safety issues, and ensuring linen and guest supplies are replenished.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all GRA carts with clean sheets, water, rags, and other materials needed for Guest Room Attendants.
• Organize and keep all closets in the hotel clean, neat, and tightly packed.
• Report any safety issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Housekeeping Management.
• Follow established protocols when entering and cleaning guest rooms.
• Maintain linen and guest supplies in the linen storage areas.
• Clean hotel public areas and replenish linen and guest supplies in housekeeping closets.
• Collect used linen from housekeeping room attendant carts and transport to the closet.
• Report damage, improvement, or repair issues in guest rooms or hotel areas to the appropriate Housekeeping Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper.

Requirements

• At least 17 years of age.
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in housekeeping preferred.
• Valid driver license required.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate verbally in English is preferred.

Skills

• Reasoning ability.
• Physical demands including standing, reaching, talking, hearing, lifting up to 100 pounds.
