Houseperson - AM & PM

Job Responsibilities

• Aid the Housekeeping Team in stripping linens from rooms
• Clean furnishings and carpets
• Clean and maintain common areas
• Replenish supplies in guest rooms and storage areas
• Ensure all service closets are clean and fully stocked
• Absorb laundry tasks, including washing, drying, and folding when necessary
• Clean, maintain, and store all cleaning equipment
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 40 pounds without assistance
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
• Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
• Complete daily/weekly deep cleaning projects
• Empty all department trash
• Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments
• Deliver guest requests and set up furniture items in guest rooms as requested
• Support the Bethany Beach team to reach common goals
• Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms
• Contact other departments directly for urgent repairs
