HOUSEKEEPING TEAM LEADER - CB & VR - FULL-TIME - DAY SHIFT

Job Qualifications

• Quality control, customer relations and ability to follow procedures required.
• Good organizational skills, detail oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks.
• Strong phone and verbal skills.
• Able to understand and follow verbal and written directions.
• Pleasant attitude when dealing with guests and employees.
• Able to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
• Able to work any shift, weekends, and holidays.

Essential Job Functions

• Oversee housekeepers and house persons, ensuring all work is completed according to established standards through regularly scheduled written inspections.
• Maintain department equipment.
• Ensure all lost and found, keys, and other items are turned in daily.
• Maintain condition of rooms and buildings by reporting maintenance issues.
• Motivate, encourage, and train as needed.
• Recommend employees for recognition and/or counseling with accompanying documentation.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned and instructed by management, including GRA and House Person duties.

Customer Service Expectations

• Give accurate directions, guiding the guest if needed.
• Tell the guest to “have fun” and “come again”.
• Tell about the properties and amenities to encourage the guest to have fun.

Physical Demands

• The work requires extensive and repetitious physical exertion, bending or kneeling repeatedly, lifting, pulling, and pushing moderately heavy objects.
• Good sense of smell, sight, and hearing required.

Work Environment

• The work environment involves everyday risks and discomforts typical of smoke-filled environments and pet accommodated environments.
• Work takes place indoors and outdoors, regardless of weather, and in extreme weather conditions when outdoors, e.g., heat in the summer.
• Use of safe work practices required.
