About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the cleaning staff to ensure all guest rooms and common areas are maintained to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily cleaning schedules and ensure all tasks are completed on time.
• Train and mentor cleaning staff in proper techniques and safety protocols.
• Inspect cleanliness of guest rooms and common areas, ensuring compliance with hotel standards.
• Address guest complaints regarding cleanliness promptly and professionally.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of housekeeping or related experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in English.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of hotel operations and guest service.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
