About the role
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the cleaning staff to ensure all guest rooms and common areas are maintained to a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily cleaning schedules and ensure all tasks are completed on time.
- Train and mentor cleaning staff in proper techniques and safety protocols.
- Inspect cleanliness of guest rooms and common areas, ensuring compliance with hotel standards.
- Address guest complaints regarding cleanliness promptly and professionally.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of housekeeping or related experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in English.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of hotel operations and guest service.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
