Responsibilities
- Ensure guest rooms, public areas, and laundry operations consistently meet established cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Conduct routine inspections and provide real-time coaching to maintain quality and service expectations.
- Track and follow through on guest requests and service needs.
- Report and coordinate resolution of maintenance concerns in a timely manner.
- Support daily housekeeping operations, including cleaning rooms when needed and performing opening and closing duties.
- Assist with public area cleanliness, event setup needs, and overall property presentation.
Qualifications
- Flexibility to work afternoons/evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of housekeeping, custodial, laundry, or related hospitality experience.
- Knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning procedures, laundry processes, and chemical handling.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and workplace safety practices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to supervise and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the workday.
Preferred
- Previous supervisory experience in housekeeping or hotel operations.
- Experience in a full-service resort, luxury hospitality environment, or 100+ room hotel.
- Bilingual language skills.
- Experience with inventory management, payroll review, and departmental budgeting.
- Demonstrated success leading teams focused on guest service excellence.

Pay
The pay rate for this position starts at $24.52/hour. The wage for this role may take into account factors for compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure or certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
