Housekeeping Supervisor Exempt

About the role

As our Housekeeping Manager, you will contribute to the overall success of our community by fostering an environment of cooperation and teamwork, leading and mentoring a team of Housekeepers, and visiting with residents to determine the quality of service being provided by your team. You will be accountable for all aspects of the day-to-day housekeeping operations, ensuring all areas of the community are maintained at the highest level of cleanliness and order at all times.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Housekeepers
• Foster an environment of cooperation and teamwork
• Visit with residents to assess the quality of housekeeping services
• Oversee all day-to-day housekeeping operations
• Maintain the highest level of cleanliness and order throughout the community

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least two years’ experience in housekeeping management
• Experience working as a housekeeper in a resort or retirement community (preferred but not required)

• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively
• Physical ability to perform tasks requiring continuous walking, standing, bending, and lifting
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to maintain composure and tact when interacting with residents, family members, staff, and visitors
• Flexible availability, including weekend coverage
