About the role

Lead Housekeeping Associate provides daily supervision to employees responsible for day-to-day activities related to housekeeping and laundry services to ensure that the community is maintained in a clean, safe and comfortable manner. Along with providing supervision, as needed this individual will perform the day-to-day activities related to housekeeping and laundry services to ensure that the community is maintained in a clean, safe and comfortable manner. In the absence of the department director, the Lead Housekeeping Associate assumes administrative authority, responsibility and accountability for the department.

Responsibilities

• Performs activities daily related to housekeeping and laundry services to ensure excellent customer service in a timely manner.
• Cleans and maintains all areas of the community including resident rooms, public areas, rest rooms, offices, corridors and other communal areas as directed.
• Maintains all cleaning equipment and cleaning chemicals is a safe and responsible manner according to company, state, and federal procedures/guidelines.
