How You Will Enjoy Your Day
- Assist in all phases of the housekeeping department responsibilities and operations
- Conform to a high level of standards of cleanliness, orderliness and attractiveness
- Work with Housekeeping Managers to coach and counsel employees
- Conduct inspections of all resort areas and guest rooms
- Perform daily control and inventory of all supplies
- Turn in lost and found items to Safety & Security
- Participate in ongoing training programs
- Communicate problems and complaints to Housekeeping management team
- Maintain the chemical room and equipment
- Return and keep carts clean and tidy
- Perform other duties as assigned
Responsibilities
- Supervise Housekeeping staff
- Receive supervision from Housekeeping Managers
- Direct and motivate staff
- Fill in for managers when necessary
Requirements
- College degree or equivalent work experience
- Prior Housekeeping and supervisory experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to perform and prioritize multiple tasks
- Computer skills required
- Strong team member relations skills
- Working knowledge of English and Spanish helpful
Physical Requirements
- 20% sitting
- 80% walking, standing and bending
- Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
- Hearing and manual dexterity
- Distance vision 1-3 feet
- Use of cleaning solutions, room spray & bug spray
- Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
- Ability to drive golf cart
