Housekeeping Supervisor

You’re Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure guest rooms meet cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Lead, train, and motivate housekeeping attendants, ensuring productivity and quality targets are achieved.
• Conduct regular room inspections; follow up on corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, brand standards, and health & safety regulations.
• Manage daily task allocation, attendance, and staff scheduling.
• Cook up with Front Office, Engineering, and Laundry to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain housekeeping supplies, linen, and equipment to minimize waste and loss.
• Handle guest requests and complaints professionally, ensuring prompt resolution and guest satisfaction.
• Support Room Attendants during peak operations and special requirements (VIPs, turn-down, deep cleaning).
• Prepare daily reports and communicate operational updates to the Executive Housekeeper.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience in a similar supervisory role within a 5-star hotel or luxury resort.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning techniques, and hygiene standards.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Able to maintain high standards under pressure and during high occupancy.
• Good communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage).
• Basic computer skills (Opera, housekeeping systems, MS Office preferred).
• A high attention to detail with a strong guest-service mindset.
• Flexible working hours.
• Relevant certification or diploma in Hospitality Management.
