Mechanicsville Specialty Care, a 39-bed long-term care skilled nursing community located in Mechanicsville, IA, is hiring a Housekeeping Supervisor. This is a Full-Time Days position. We are looking for a compassionate Housekeeping Leader to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals during their healthcare journey. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to apply your skills and demonstrate your compassion, positively influencing the lives of our residents.

Responsibilities

• Working knowledge of institutional housekeeping practices and standards
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal, communication, and supervisory skills
• Carry out daily housekeeping and laundry duties following established task lists and procedures to support cleanliness, safety, and regulatory standards
• Complete assignments timely, completely, and accurately
• Help maintain a clean, welcoming, and well-organized environment for residents, families, visitors, and team members
• Complete assigned cleaning schedules and service areas with attention to detail, sanitation, and infection prevention while collaborating effectively with the care team
• Engage respectfully and professionally with residents and guests, contributing to a positive and supportive facility atmosphere
