About The Role

As a Housekeeping Supervisor at Maplewood Nursing and Rehab Center, you will oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping department, ensuring that all areas of the facility are clean, tidy, and well-maintained. You will lead a team of housekeeping staff, providing guidance and training to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Your role will also involve developing and implementing cleaning schedules, protocols, and procedures to ensure the department runs efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including scheduling, staff supervision, and inventory management
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and procedures to ensure the department runs efficiently
• Lead a team of housekeeping staff, providing guidance, training, and coaching to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are met
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with departmental and facility policies and standards
• Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
• Collaborate with other departments, including nursing, therapy, and dietary, to ensure effective communication and cooperation
