Housekeeping Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and heart of the house for cleanliness
• Train, motivate, coach, counsel, and discipline staff members
• Maintain a regularly scheduled cleaning program
• Maintain supply and linen inventories
• Update room statuses in the computer
• Ensure housekeeping requests from guests or management are responded to in a timely, efficient, and friendly manner

Qualifications

• At least two years Hotel Housekeeping experience preferred
• Must be able to read, write, understand and speak the English language
• Must have ability to work any day of the week, including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
• Must have exceptional guest service skills and can communicate well with all guests as well as associates
• Demonstrated ability to perform multiple tasks in a busy environment and remain flexible
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift, reach, bend, stoop, stand and walk continuously, climb stairs, and push or pull heavy equipment
• Push, pull and/or lift fifty (50) pounds maximum
• Frequent twisting, bending, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing and smiling
