Housekeeping Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Maintains a positive attitude to ensure a good relationship with team members and other departments.
• Ensures that guest rooms are well maintained and in proper repair.
• Maintains cleanliness of rooms, hallways, linen closets, and equipment through daily inspections.
• Solves guest complaints in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assists in developing and maintaining Housekeeping department operation procedures to ensure effective execution of work.
• Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
• Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements within area of responsibility and reports potential issues to management.
• Keeps work area clean and free of safety hazards, debris, and litter.
• Performs all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
• Performs all job duties with minimum supervision.
• Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This job may or may not have supervisory responsibilities.
• Manages work procedures and expedites workflow.
• Provides coaching and counseling to team members.
