Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

The Holiday Inn Express, Moline (across from the airport) is currently hiring a Full-Time Housekeeping Supervisor.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day staffing requirements, plan, and assign work for employees.
• Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to help manage conflict and improve employee performance.
• Oversees that staff is trained and observing all safety and security procedures.
• Aids manager in preventative maintenance programs for guest rooms and public areas.
• Responds to guest complaints, special requests and takes action to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Inspects guest rooms/suites, linen rooms, and public areas to assure that the property's standards of housekeeping and cleanliness are maintained by employees to meet guest satisfaction.

Qualifications And Requirements

• 1+ years supervising a department of ten or more employees.
• Prior housekeeping and laundry experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Ledgers experience is a plus!

$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
