Tasks/Responsibilities
- Ensure all villas & other areas of the hotel are clean & assist with room cleaning when necessary
- Plan and organise staff's work to ensure it is completed in a timely manner.
- Aid the department to maintain accurate records in Linen Inventory, Guest supplies, Cleaning supplies, Lost and found, maintenance requests etc.
- Ensure pantry is stocked and clean always
- Supervise and assist with the Turndown service of all villas
- Handle all complaints relating to Housekeeping in a professional and courteous manner, forward any comments to Executive/Assistant Executive Housekeeper or duty manager
- Ensure all maintenance tasks to be given to maintenance and a check should be done to make sure item is repaired. If not report to Executive Housekeeper / Assistant Executive housekeeper.
- Handle all enquiries relating to Housekeeping efficiently and promptly deal with all requests
- Liaise with all departments on the special requirements of the guests remember one hotel one team
- Ensure all attendants have the training necessary for their daily tasks
- Organise, supervise and assist with the deep cleaning of villa & other housekeeping areas
Job Requirements
- Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory role in the hospitality sector.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of the best housekeeping practices, cleaning techniques, and use of cleaning equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work with computers - have basic knowledge of hotel system computer.
