Ravenwood Specialty Care, a 176-bed long-term care skilled nursing community located in Waterloo, IA, is now hiring a compassionate Housekeeping Leader to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals during their healthcare journey. Join Care Initiatives, where you will provide comprehensive care that truly matters across over forty (40) skilled nursing communities in Iowa.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out daily housekeeping and laundry duties following established task lists and procedures to support cleanliness, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Complete assignments timely, completely, and accurately.
• Help maintain a clean, welcoming, and well-organized environment for residents, families, visitors, and team members.
• Complete assigned cleaning schedules and service areas with attention to detail, sanitation, and infection prevention while collaborating effectively with the care team.
• Engage respectfully and professionally with residents and guests, contributing to a positive and supportive facility atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of institutional housekeeping practices and standards.
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal, communication, and supervisory skills.
• Ability to complete assignments timely.
• Interest in providing a home-like atmosphere.
• Passion for providing excellent care to our residents.
• Strong commitment to helping others and consistently treating them with empathy, respect, patience, and discretion.
