Cantex Continuing Care Network is seeking a Housekeeping Director to ensure the facility’s environment—including patient rooms, bathrooms, common spaces, dining rooms, and administrative offices—is cleaned and sanitized according to approved procedures. As supervisor, you will oversee daily operations to maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable facility.

Qualifications
- High school diploma (required)
- Prior experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting (preferred)
- Minimum one year in a supervisory role
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and supervise housekeeping activities at the facility
- Create and maintain work logs/checklists for daily, weekly, or monthly tasks
- Perform direct housekeeping duties as a working director
- Manage inventories of housekeeping supplies and equipment, ensuring proper functionality
- Maintain supply inventory within budget and provide spend-down sheets to the administrator weekly
- Ensure compliance with governmental regulations and company standards
- Identify and correct potential safety hazards
- Assess and recommend equipment replacement or repair
- Assist in recruitment, selection, and training of housekeeping aides
- Schedule departmental working hours, personnel, and assignments
- Complete annual or post-probationary employee evaluations; provide counseling or disciplinary action as needed
- Serve on committees as requested by the administrator
- Act as a team leader and role model
- Review and enforce Cantex’s abuse prevention policies and procedures
- Attend weekly in-services and comply with Patient Care Management Systems
- Ensure patient/resident safety
- Perform other assigned duties and tasks
