Housekeeping Room Attendant (Full-Time)

About the role

The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the guest rooms assigned. This may include but is not limited to; changing bed linens, replacing towels and bathroom linens, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming all floors, disinfecting all surfaces and high-touch items in the guest room and bathroom, replacing bathroom amenities, removing trash and dirty linen from the room and ensuring all guest room standards are adhered to. Guest room service will include full service and stayover services. Room Attendants are expected to complete all assigned credits within their scheduled shift hours while adhering to all safety standards. Candidates should be able to communicate with guests to ensure exceptional service is provided during all interactions. Candidates should have open and flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of guest rooms
• Change bed linens, replace towels and bathroom linens
• Sweep, mop and vacuum all floors
• Disinfect all surfaces and high-touch items in the guest room and bathroom
• Replace bathroom amenities
• Remove trash and dirty linen from the room
• Ensure all guest room standards are adhered to
• Provide full service and stayover services
• Complete all assigned credits within scheduled shift hours
• Adhere to all safety standards
• Communicate with guests to ensure exceptional service
• Have open and flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience in a hotel setting preferred
• Desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift, push, pull a moderate weight

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is $23.75.
