Responsibilities
- Retrieves items from shelves and storerooms, sets up cleaning cart with supplies, organizes carts and storerooms.
- Cleans and wipes windows, doors, walls, closets and fixtures.
- Washes shower walls and tub, cleans toilets and stall walls, wipes exposed pipes, cleans mirrors, sinks and walls.
- Replaces towels, soaps and all room amenities.
- Restocks literature, vacuums rooms, public areas and hallways, dusts and polishes furniture, fixtures and wall hangings.
- Strips beds, checks bedspreads, blankets and bed pads for cleanliness, replaces if soiled, lifts mattresses, checks closets for cleanliness, restocks guest room supplies.
- Vacuums hard floor areas, inspects room equipment, reports deficiencies to Executive Housekeeper, secures and maintains custody of equipment, keys and supplies.
- Cleans patio/balcony areas, sweeps or hoses floors, wipes down furniture and fixtures, picks up garbage, cleans patio/balcony doors and windows.
- Provides assistance to other employees and departments.
Qualifications
- Able to work flexible hours (nights, weekends).
- Responsible, dependable, punctual.
- Able to understand and follow verbal/written instructions and communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Clean and professional appearance.
- Must pass a background check.
- Physical qualifications: able to maneuver fully loaded maid cart, weigh up to 50lbs., through hallways and into/out of closets during entire work day; able to push, pull, bend and kneel constantly throughout the day; able to bend down and get on and off floor numerous times per day.
- Education/Formal Training: High School Diploma/GED.
- Experience: Experience a plus, but not required.
