About the Role

The Housekeeping team is responsible for the continuous cleaning of the facility, ensuring a safe and hazard-free environment for entertainers, guests, patrons, and staff. This role ensures the venue is event-ready and presentable at all times. Team members must communicate in a friendly, respectful, and professional manner with colleagues and guests, providing consistent, timely, and accurate information. Collaboration with other departments and a strong teamwork ethos are essential.

This position pays an hourly rate of $16.00.

The Bank of Oklahoma Center (BOK Center) is a premier sports and entertainment venue located downtown in the greater Tulsa region. It features a 19,199-seat multi-purpose arena and 565,000 total square feet, hosting concerts, family shows, and special events. The BOK Center has been recognized as one of the country’s best venues.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
• Clean, mop, wash, buff, and vacuum floors.
• Empty trash and remove recycling materials.
• Maintain outside walk areas, including sweeping debris and washing walkways.
• Clean and polish fixtures.
• Dust furniture.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
• Work independently, exercising good judgment and initiative.
• Maintain effective working relationships with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons, and others.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including daytime, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move heavy objects.
• Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Remain flexible and adapt to changing situations.
