Housekeeping - Part-Time

About the role

We are seeking a part-time individual to join our dynamic team at our clinic in Monument Valley, UTPart-time. This position offers benefits such as PTO leave, holiday pay, and options for accident, hospital, and critical illness benefits.

Responsibilities

• Ensures cleanliness of the clinic by using equipment and cleaning chemicals as per a provided Cleaning Checklist.
• Empties and relines trash receptacles weekly.
• Sweeps, mops, dust mops, or vacuums floors in various areas.
• Periodically strips or scrubs floors or shampoos carpeted areas.
• Moves equipment and furniture for thorough cleaning.
• Cleans and polishes hard and washable surfaces, chairs, telephones, etc., except in areas managed by nursing staff.
• Inspects and cleans windows, door panels, walls, ceilings, woodwork, and notifies maintenance for service if needed.
• Maintains adequate supply of paper and liquid products in all areas and replenishes them on a periodic basis.
• Cleans and rotates rugs and routes them to Montezuma Creek Clinic for cleaning.
• Cleans and routes linens for cleaning.
• Maintains an adequate inventory of cleaning chemicals and notifies supervisor when supplies are short.
• Aids and notifies nursing staff with Sharps containers and bio-hazardous materials.
• Maintains and cleans all cleaning equipment after each use and reports needed repairs or replacements to supervisor.
• Ensures heating and air conditioning systems operate within normal parameters and notifies maintenance for service if needed.
• Maintains and cleans all fixtures in clinical and administrative sections.
• Uses all applicable company forms in the course of employment.
• Completes any other tasks, projects, or duties requested by supervisor or UNHS management.

Requirements

• Show proof of immunization for MMR, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Varicella, and influenza vaccines before employment or during employment.
• Enrolled Navajo or married to an enrolled Navajo with residency on the Navajo Nation for more than a year.
• Everyone else must meet standard immunization requirements.
