We have 4 primary care health centers and deliver integrated services including Medical, Behavioral Health, Pharmacy, Dental, Optometry, specialty referrals, chronic disease management, health education, and much, much more.

Location: Monument Valley, UT (part‑time position).

Requirements

• Ensure cleanliness of clinic by using equipment (vacuum cleaner, mop/bucket, floor cleaners, rug cleaners, etc.) and cleaning chemicals (disinfectants, cleaners, sanitizers, etc.) following a provided Cleaning Checklist.
• Clean daily areas: Front Lobby, Screening Rooms, Exam Rooms, Treatment Rooms, Providers’ Offices, Staff Lounge, Restrooms (public, patient and employee), Hallways, Dental (Reception and Exam areas), Administrative areas (offices, restrooms, kitchens, and storages).
• Empty and reline trash receptacles; clean trash receptacles weekly.
• Sweep, mop, dust mop, and/or vacuum floors in all areas; periodically strip or scrub and wax floors or shampoo carpeted areas.
• Move equipment and/or furniture (chairs, exam tables, moveable cabinets, etc.) for thorough cleaning of facility.
• Sanitize, clean and/or polish all hard and washable surfaces (counters, tabletops, toys, chair arms, telephones, etc.) except where nursing staff is responsible.
• Inspect and clean windows, door panels, window sills, walls, ceiling, woodwork and notify Maintenance for service if needed.
• Ensure adequate supply of paper and liquid products (bathroom tissue, paper towels, liquid soap, air freshener, Kleenex, etc.) in all areas; monitor and replenish supplies periodically.
• Clean, maintain and rotate rugs (interior and exterior); route to Montezuma Creek Clinic for cleaning as required.
• Wash linens (sheets, gowns, cleaning rags, etc.) daily when a washing machine is available; route to Montezuma Creek Clinic for cleaning as required.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning chemicals and paper products; notify supervisor and provide supply requisition when low.
• Assist and notify Nursing Staff with sharps containers and/or bio‑hazardous materials; transport materials to Bio‑Hazard Cage.
• Maintain and clean all cleaning equipment after each use; report repair or replacement needs to supervisor.
• Ensure heating and air conditioner operate within normal parameters; notify Maintenance for service if needed.
• Ensure all fixtures in clinical and administrative sections are in working order (light switches, faucets, air fresheners, commodes, vents, etc.) and notify Maintenance for service if needed.
• Use all applicable company forms in the course of employment (leave forms, supply requisition, etc.).
• Perform any other tasks, projects, or duties requested by the employee’s supervisor or UNHS management that are reasonably related to UNHS and the employee’s employment.

Qualifications

• Proof of immunizations/vaccinations required by UNHS, including but not limited to:
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) – documentation of two MMR vaccines or MMR titers.
  • Complete Hepatitis B vaccine series (3 doses) with proof of immunity or signed declination.
  • Up‑to‑date PPD skin testing (or documentation of positive test with recent chest X‑ray and treatment history).
  • Tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (Tdap) vaccine.
  • Varicella titers, history of varicella, or varicella immunization series.
  • Current year influenza vaccine.
  • Any other vaccinations as requested.
• Preference under Navajo Preference Employment Act:
  • Enrolled Navajo (must have a CIB).
  • Applicant married to an enrolled Navajo and who has lived on the Navajo Nation for more than a year.
  • All other tribes and non‑Indians considered after preferred candidates.
• Ability to follow company procedures, multi‑task, and provide excellent customer service.
