About the role
Home2 Suites by Hilton is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to lead the housekeeping department. This full-time, year-round role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet Hilton brand standards, and playing a key role in creating a positive guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with scheduling and daily staffing coordination for both Housekeepers and Laundry Attendants
- Lead and support the housekeeping team to ensure guest rooms and public spaces meet Hilton brand standards
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations, including room inspections, scheduling, and inventory management
- Train, coach, and motivate team members to maintain high levels of cleanliness, efficiency, and guest service
- Ensure proper cleaning procedures, safety standards, and sanitation guidelines are consistently followed
- Maintain accuracy in records, reports, and department communication
- Collaborate with the front desk and maintenance teams to address guest needs and room priorities efficiently
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and concerns
- Aid in hiring, onboarding, and performance management of housekeeping team members
- Help create a positive, team-oriented work environment
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping or hospitality leadership experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, safety standards, and hotel operations preferred
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Comfortable performing physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
- Positive attitude and team-first mindset
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred)
