Housekeeping Manager

About the role

You directly oversee the housekeeping and house person team members. You work closely with the Front Desk and Maintenance Departments to ensure the guest experience is exceptional.

Responsibilities

• Take complete ownership of the properties cleanliness from guest rooms to public areas.
• Work with your team members and other departments to meet high cleanliness and productivity standards.
• Drive guest service levels by ensuring everything is kept in proper working order.
• Model the behaviors and actions expected from your team, focusing on attention to detail, organizational skills, professionalism, and passion for training.
• Coach and mentor your team while holding them accountable for their results.
• Support your teams development through onboarding, training, leading, mentoring, performance management, and succession planning.
• Show pride in your work, the hotel, and your employer to exceed guests' expectations.

Requirements

• Bilingual Spanish English is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a leadership role in hotels or as a Cleaning Supervisor.
• Great care and attention to detail to ensure quality.
• Outgoing, friendly, and professional communication with guests, managers, and colleagues.
• A passion for leading and growing a team.
