Housekeeping Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager for our soon-to-open Carter Creek Winery Resort & Spa in Johnson City, Texas. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with energy, strong leadership skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create weekly schedules for room attendants, housemen, and laundry staff
• Establish and implement operational procedures for the housekeeping department
• Supervise housekeeping and laundry staff, including hiring, performance evaluations, training, and development
• Develop the department’s annual budget and monitor performance against the plan
• Maintain room quality based on hotel objectives
• Maintain productivity and labor cost goals
• Order and receive supplies and manage inventories
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness in rooms, storage areas, laundry, restrooms, and public areas

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience
• Experience in the hospitality/guest services industry
• Flexibility with schedule, including availability to work weekends
• Bilingual ability is a plus
