Housekeeping Manager

About the role

The Housekeeping Manager plans, organizes, and develops the overall operation of the housekeeping department in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and guidelines, ensuring the highest degree of quality guest care at all times.

Responsibilities

• Staff, schedule, train, and develop hourly team members
• Manage daily activities of the Housekeeping department
• Plan, organize, and direct team members to ensure the highest degree of guest satisfaction
• Supervise all housekeeping employees, hire new staff as needed, discharge employees when necessary, and take disciplinary actions when policies are not followed
• Purchase, re-order, and maintain housekeeping supplies and inventory
• Ensure knowledge and compliance with OSHA and safety standards within the Housekeeping department
• Prepare the Annual Housekeeping Budget
