Housekeeping Manager

About the role

The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and developing the overall operation of the housekeeping department in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and guidelines. The role ensures the highest degree of quality guest care are maintained at all times.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct team members to ensure the highest degree of guest satisfaction.
• Supervise all housekeeping employees, including hiring new employees as needed, discharging employees when necessary, and taking disciplinary actions when policies are not followed.
• Purchase, reorder, and maintain housekeeping supplies and inventory.
• Manage the daily activities of the Housekeeping department.
• Prepare an Annual Housekeeping Budget.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of OSHA and safety standards within the Housekeeping department.
