Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct regular room and public area inspections; address deficiencies promptly and coach staff to maintain excellence.
- Oversee ordering, storage, and distribution of linens, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities; maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Respond to guest requests and service issues with urgency, professionalism, and a solutions-focused approach.
- Ensure staff follow all safety protocols, chemical handling procedures, and OSHA guidelines; maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with Front Desk and Engineering to prioritize room readiness, maintenance needs, and special projects.
- Prioritize VIPs, early arrivals, and inspect stayovers.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of housekeeping leadership experience in a hotel or hospitality environment (NYC experience preferred).
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, chemicals, and safety protocols.
- Experience with inventory management and scheduling systems.
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) a plus.
Work Schedule
Full-time, (divided over 4 days), including weekends and holidays based on operational needs.
Pay
Hourly Pay $28.00
